Executive Summary

At Dr Pepper Snapple Group, my primary role was technical. I spearheaded the migration of legacy applications to SharePoint and .Net platforms. I didn't just scratch the surface; I delved deep into wireframe architecture, data modeling, and business logic, all essential for seamless application migration. This project was a technical ballet of sorts, demanding a lot from SharePoint 2010 and .NET.

Project Description

In terms of tools, SharePoint 2010 and .NET were my bread and butter. I used them to establish the architecture for the new systems. Data modeling tools were also key in optimizing database structures. On top of this, my comprehensive documentation acted as a blueprint for the internal development team to build upon. The end result? A robust, scalable, and secure SharePoint environment that integrated seamlessly with existing systems.

Task/Challenge

The project was full of technical hurdles, from ensuring that the new SharePoint environment was scalable and secure to making sure it integrated well with existing business systems and tools.

Solution

My approach was intensely technical. I architected wireframes and data models, focusing on future scalability and system robustness. By employing SharePoint 2010 and .Net, I could build resilient systems that would stand the test of time and adapt to changing business needs. Through regular meetings and detailed documentation, the development team was well-equipped to carry the project over the finish line without hiccups.
