Project Description

In the role of SharePoint Architect at APP Pharmaceutical/Fresenius Kabi, I was responsible for troubleshooting, optimizing, and scaling an existing SharePoint 2007 farm. My engagement included the configuration and deployment of content publishing across both Staging and Production farms, UI branding, and performance optimization.

Task/Challenge

The existing SharePoint farm was underperforming, leading to dissatisfaction among the end-users and a backlog of projects waiting for a stable environment. My role was to address these challenges by optimizing the SharePoint environment, ensuring its readiness for future projects, and enhancing user satisfaction.

Solution

Identified bottlenecks in the system and executed performance-enhancing solutions. Redesigned the UI to increase user engagement and improve the overall SharePoint portal experience. Implemented robust content publishing pipelines across Staging and Production farms to streamline content updates and changes.
