Project Description
As an IT Consultant at Kimberly Clark, my role was heavily focused on the technical side. I conducted an in-depth health check for their existing MOSS 2007-based Intranet, leading to immediate system improvements and long-term stability. My responsibilities included customizing and deploying solutions in SharePoint and .NET, designing enterprise-level portals, and creating a specialized security model tailored to Kimberly Clark’s organizational needs.
Task/Challenge
The project posed several challenges, including diagnosing an existing MOSS 2007-based Intranet and designing tailored solutions to meet Kimberly Clark's unique organizational needs. My approach included a comprehensive health check and subsequent system fine-tuning, applying best practices for both immediate and long-term stability.
Solution
I led the project from the planning phase through to deployment, leveraging my skills in SharePoint and .NET to customize solutions. I also designed an enterprise-level portal and implemented a customized security model, meeting Kimberly Clark’s unique requirements and achieving system stability. This work received praise from key stakeholders and contributed to the project’s overall success.
