Project Description

As the Architect at Taubman Real Estate, my role was highly technical and hands-on. I was tasked with leading a greenfield SharePoint Intranet deployment, focusing heavily on development and customization. I created a multi-layered architectural plan that was robust and scalable, incorporating various SharePoint features and custom branding tools.

Task/Challenge

Creating a user-friendly and visually appealing Intranet was a significant challenge, compounded by strict timelines and high client expectations for user adoption post-launch. I leveraged my deep expertise in SharePoint to build a technically robust yet user-friendly system. I also conducted rigorous UX/UI testing to ensure the design would be intuitively navigable by end-users.

Solution

I curated a highly customized branding package, including themes, layouts, and logos, to align with the client’s corporate identity. This involved using SharePoint’s customization capabilities to their fullest extent. My approach also included frequent quality checks and iterative improvements, culminating in an end-product that exceeded all client expectations in terms of performance and design.
